Walking School Bus

Webinar: March 24th 10:30 am

The Iowa Safe Routes to School Program is teaming up with the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Cedar Rapids Walking School Bus committee to discuss Walking School Bus Programs. The Iowa Safe Routes to School program has been working closely with the Cedar Rapids walking school bus committee to develop a walking school bus menu.

This menu provides assistance in building sustainable walking school bus programs. In this webinar we will discuss how and why we built this menu and how it will benefit communities across the state interested in building their own sustainable walking school bus programs.

The Iowa Safe Routes to School Program will be adding this menu to their already existing walking school bus guide

Additionally, other aspects of the guide will be updated including volunteer resources and statewide success stories.
