Punch Card Contest 2015

April 20-May 1

It’s that time of year! The 2015 annual Punch Card contest is right around the corner and it’s time for your school to get registered. We challenge your school to get as many children to walk or bike to school for 2 weeks. The purpose of this contest is to motivate healthy lifestyles by getting children to walk and bike to school.

Here’s how it works:
This contest will run for a total of 2 weeks, 10 school days, from April 20- May 1. Children will walk or bike to school as many days as they can for the duration of the contest. Each child will be given 1 punch card. Every day the child walks or bikes to school, they will receive a punch on their card from a designated teacher or staff member (designated coordinator). At the end of the 2 weeks children will turn their punch cards in to the designated coordinator who will then mail them to the Iowa Safe Routes to School program. Postmark deadline is May 11.

Once all punch cards have been processed, prizes will be mailed to the schools designated coordinator with details on the the winners of the contest on each particular school.

To request punch cards please send an email to Alana by hitting the tab below. Within the email please share number of students participating, coordinator name and contact information, mailing address, and school name. A list of details will be included within your packet. Deadline for punch card request is April 10.

Looking forward to handing out some AMAZING prices to your students!
